CLEANSE & PREPARE
The skin is thoroughly double cleansed to remove all traces of makeup, oils, and impurities. The skin is then dried completely to prepare for the dermaplaning treatment, as the blade works most effectively on clean, dry skin.

DERMAPLANING EXFOLIATION
Using a sterile surgical blade held at a precise 45 degree angle, we carefully and methodically glide the blade across the skin in short, feathering strokes, removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair. This step is completely painless and most clients find it deeply relaxing.

SKIN INFUSION
With the skin's surface freshly cleared, targeted hydrating serums are applied and massaged into the skin. The removal of the dead skin cell layer dramatically enhances product absorption, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate more deeply and work more effectively than they would on untreated skin.

This treatment is suitable for most skin types and tones. It is not recommended for clients with active acne breakouts, highly sensitive or reactive skin, rosacea flare-ups, or open wounds. We will assess your skin prior to treatment to ensure dermaplaning is appropriate for your current skin condition.

This is one of the most common questions we receive about dermaplaning and the answer is no. Dermaplaning removes only the fine vellus hair from the surface of the skin, which is structurally different from terminal hair. Removing vellus hair does not affect the hair follicle or alter the hair's growth cycle, color, or texture in any way. Your hair will grow back exactly as it was before your treatment.

Most clients leave their appointment with immediately smoother, more radiant skin and can return to their normal activities right away. We do recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and wearing SPF diligently in the days following your treatment as the freshly exfoliated skin can be more sensitive to UV exposure.
