Before Your Treatment
For optimal treatment conditions:
Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning before your appointment
Discontinue retinoids, exfoliating acids, and aggressive skincare treatments as directed
Avoid waxing or other potentially irritating treatments in the treatment area
Arrive with clean skin unless otherwise instructed
Inform your provider of any recent procedures, medications, or changes to your health history
After Your Treatment
Following SkinPen®, your skin may appear red and feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn. Temporary swelling, sensitivity, dryness, or flaking may occur as the skin begins its renewal process.
Post-treatment recommendations may include:
Use only recommended skincare products
Avoid makeup for approximately 24 hours or as directed
Apply mineral SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure
Avoid excessive heat, swimming, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24 to 72 hours
Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other potentially irritating products until your skin has recovered
Do not pick, peel, or aggressively exfoliate flaking skin

CONSULTATION & SKIN ASSESSMENT
Before your treatment begins, We will assess your skin, review your health history, and discuss your concerns and desired results. This allows your SkinPen® treatment to be customized to your skin’s needs and helps determine whether microneedling is an appropriate treatment for you.

CLEANSE & PREPARE
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and professionally prepared for treatment. A topical numbing product may be applied according to your personalized treatment protocol to help keep you comfortable throughout the service.

CUSTOMIZED SKINPEN® TREATMENT
The SkinPen® Precision Elite device is carefully passed across the treatment area, creating controlled microchannels within the skin. The treatment depth and technique are customized based on the treatment area, your skin concerns, and your individual tolerance.

REGENERATIVE SUPPORT
Following the microneedling portion of your appointment, your selected post-treatment protocol will be applied to support hydration, comfort, and the skin’s natural renewal response. Optional LED Light Therapy enhancement may be added to your treatment.

AFTERCARE & RECOVERY GUIDANCE
Your appointment concludes with personalized aftercare instructions and professional skincare recommendations. You will receive guidance on cleansing, sun protection, activity restrictions, and when to resume your regular skincare products.
